Painting of the Day

'Sanibel Storm'

Here is the painting of the day. We are on day number four of our 100 painting project. I am planning to post my daily painting here on by blog. This painting is done from a photo I took on a recent trip to Sanibel Island. It was a stormy day as Tropical Storm Arlene came through. It was very windy and the Gulf was churning. All I could think of were the beautiful shells that would be washed ashore after the storm!
