I came home from vacation to the news that my painting 'Summer Fields' took first place in the pastel division at the National League of American Pen Women's juried exhibition 'Reflections'. I wish I had been home for the opening ...I would have been so surprised! I am very honored and pleased to have been recognized. My husband calls these my 'weed' paintings but I love to paint them! If you are in the Marietta Georgia area come by and see the show at the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art!
