'The Woods Walk' 11x14 pastelI had a nice quiet day in the studio and got to paint. It was nice to put everything else on the back burner and just enjoy painting. I have over 5000 reference photos from my trip but this one called out to be painted today. I love aspen trees and saw these on the Wood's Walk in Crested Butte, Colorado. It was an easy stroll through wildflower meadows and aspen groves...just perfect!
