I agree that it's a great idea, but I'm not sure about long term storage. I would hate for your beautiful work to get damaged. I just finished reading David Cuthbert "The Pastel Painter's Solution Book" p 29 "It is not a good idea to keep your finished pastels in transparent plastic presentation sleeves. These are fine for showing your work to someone, but in the long-term, you will find that static and humidity causes the pastel to travel onto the inside of the plastic sleeve, resulting in a deterioration of the work". I have a similar problem with storing acrylic paintings which will eventually stick to any clear bag, even archival ones. :(Sea Dean - Paint a Masterpiecehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01356090954132478713noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14672405.post-4815432653651704202014-01-27T19:03:56.501-05:002014-01-27T19:03:56.501-05:00Larger options : http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/bu...Larger options : http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/buy/Presentation-Binders/ci/989/N/4077634451Observe Closelyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12395405127041255946noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14672405.post-88121931685304072832014-01-27T18:48:00.843-05:002014-01-27T18:48:00.843-05:00I agree a wonderful time to "receive" in...I agree a wonderful time to "receive" inspiration is just before or sleeping or immediately upon waking. I put my finger inside to open it wide enough so the painting doenst rub against the plastic. You will find a bit of the dust on the plastic but not enough to matter. To me the benefit of this outweighs any dust left behind.Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17239336384191511625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14672405.post-64609953639772270382014-01-27T18:26:42.075-05:002014-01-27T18:26:42.075-05:00You don't have an issue with static from the p...You don't have an issue with static from the plastic sleeve?
