Painting Aspens in the Fall

I made some adjustments to this painting. Some of my fellow artists over at Wet Canvas suggested that the leaves needed to have that golden glow of aspens in the fall as well as hinting at their distinctive shape. The photo I was working from was taken before peak so it was much greener. Which version do you prefer??
