'Autumn Drive' 12x16 pastelOn Sunday my husband & I took a drive in his Miata up into the Georgia Mountains. He wanted to drive the curvy roads and I wanted fall scenery photos. We had a great day though it was a little chilly riding with the top down! Here is a painting from one of the photos I took. It's an old barn somewhere near Ellijay Georgia. I have a few more scenes I'd like to paint.
I love this one. I can't wait to travel the mainland and find barns to paint. Your fence line is great and I love the trees. There is such depth with the mountains. Wonderful.

Ellijay is a wonderful place for inspiration. Right now the colors are amazing. This painting makes me want to take another day trip to the mountains. You've captured a perfect scene.
