'Clearing Storm' 8x10 pastelToday's painting is a plein air piece I did last November at the Stan Sperlak workshop on Kiawah Island. We had rain and cold but on the last day it tried to clear. We were painting down on the beach and the way the cloud bank was lifting was so interesting.
This is lovely, Karen. The colors of the sky and the muted tones of the ocean and land make this a very peaceful painting.
