Avalon Pier Finished

Actually this photo came out a little dark...the grasses are lighter in real life. This is the finished painting of the Avalon Pier. It was a hot, hazy but breezy summer day at the Jersey Shore. I remember standing on the walkway to the beach feeling the warm breeze. I took several pictures of the scene...wishing I was out there on the beach reading a book under one of those colorful umbrellas!
