Morning among the Dunes

The morning we left St. George Island, the light was perfect. It was a gorgeous soft, slighlty overcast light that is perfect for photography. We stopped the car so we could wander the beach and take some last minute photos. This painting is from one of the photos I took. I love the sand here...it is as white as snow. Another great place to visit!
