'Through the Woods' 11x14 pastelI debated about saving this painting for my Christmas post but I seem to be on a 'winter' roll and have a couple more snow scenes I want to paint. I think this can qualify for my 'cool color' painting on my pastel homework list. I did this on an Ampersand Pastelbord with a watercolor underpainting. This board was very rough and grainy which was strange because most of the boards I've used have been much smoother. I do like how it takes an underpainting though!
