'Treasures from the Sea' 6x6 pastelI love collecting sea glass. I have a collection with pieces from beaches all over the country. Some beaches are better for sea glass than others. The best beach I have come across is on Monhegan Island in Maine. The beach there was covered with sea glass. I remember one evening at the Trailing Yew Inn, I watched a lady rinse off her collection and it looked like a pile of jewels. I plan to make more paintings using my collection. This was fun to paint and I did it from life which I am trying to do more.
