I'd like to thank Christine Murdoch for the photo I based this painting on. She is one of my collectors and graciously offered her New Jersey shore photos for me to use as reference photos. Last year I did a painting of her children sitting in an Avalon Lifeguard boat. They visit Avalon every summer and this photo is from this past summer's Lifeguard races.
