'Path to the Shore' 9x12 pastelIt has been awhile since I painted a beach scene and I want to warm up before my trip to the South Carolina coast next week. Beach paths and fences are some of my favorite subjects to paint and when I saw this scene I knew I would enjoy painting it. I did take some liberties with the pathway but I hope it draws you in and makes you want to see what is on the other side of the dunes.
