'A Meadow in Maine' 10x8 pastelI tried the oil stain underpainting for this on Uart paper and I am pleased to say the paper didn't buckle a bit! I didn't get my underpainting as vibrant as I wanted so I need to work on that. But this is a moody day in Maine so I think it worked out fine. I am ready to paint something very colorful though...I have some ideas so stay tuned!
Another beautiful landscape Karen. I just love the colors in this - it has a great feel about it. Would you consider doing a WIP of one of your pieces on your blog? I'd love to see it come together from start to finish.
