'Summer Reverie' 8x10 pastelToday was a hot one here in Atlanta so a cool painitng was in order. For this one I used cooler colors and the sky was overcast and grey. I remember this day...a cool summer morning with a morning fog. It would have been a welcome relief today!
Karen - I have enjoyed seeing your Queen Anne's lace works. I love the way you've use blues and pinks to play up the white of the flowers. Nice work. Often, we don't look at those wildflowers(and weeds) around us enough to appreciate their beauty.
