This painting brings back the day like it was yesterday. It was a great time at Stan Sperlak's workshop last Fall. I am getting excited for this year's workshop this time on the South Carolina coast. I will be doing more marsh paintings now in preparation for the workshop.

Nice transition between light & darks. I always teach in my workshop that it is not the color but the values of light & dark in a composition that will make or break a work.
