'A Taste of Winter' 5x7 pastel

Here is my first new winter painting of the year. I really love painting the moodiness of the winter landscape and I am looking forward to painting more wintery scenes. I will be preparing for my Winter Workshop which I am offering on Sunday January 17th. I have four openings for this workshop. We will be working on simplifying and concentrating on composition and the use of notans as we paint simple expressions of the winter landscape.
