Sunflowers in a Red Vase Oil Painting

I was waiting for this painting to dry so I could get a better photo. I am trying out different supports and I am finding that I prefer these gessobords to stretched canvas. I don't think I like the weave on the canvas but I have a few others to try this week. It is all a learning process for me but I am enjoying it!

    I really like this painting Kem beautiful colours lovely brush work. I work mostly in pastel however I enjoy oil painting too. There is that intensity of colour you can achieve with pastel and oil.
