North Georgia Wildflower Meadow

'Magical Meadow' 11x14 pastel

This magical meadow is located right off the side of the highway in the North Georgia mountains. My husband and I were on our way up for a day on the lake and we had to pull over for pictures. A couple of years ago all of the highway medians were filled with wildflowers but now there seems to only be a few areas with flowers so I took lots of photos of this little patch. I am looking forward to being up in the Colorado mountains this July. I have seen so many wonderful wildflower photos so I hope they will be at their peak when we are there!
