'Edge of the Forest' 5x7 pastelToday I am sharing a plein air paintng I did this past spring up in Blue Ridge Georgia. I was participating in the Spring Paint Out and this was done on the first day. I am planning on getting back into the studio to paint tomorrow....this has been the longest I have gone without painting in awhile and I am anxious to get dusty.

To me, this is what the edge of the forest in heaven would look like. Ethereally (is that a word?)beautiful!
