'Morning Mist' 8x10 pastelI arrived at the river to paint around 8:00am. I was excited to discover a mysterious mist rising from the river. It pushed up behind the trees and was illuminated from behind by the rising sun. I quickly set up my easel so I could try to capture the rising mist before it was gone.

It looks like you used a metallic pastel for the goldish color. Very nice.
