Aspen Trees Plein Air 8x10

'Aspens at Carson Pass' 8x10 pastel

It was such a pleasure to have the opportunity to paint my favorite tree en plein air. We don't have aspen trees in Georgia so any time I get to see them I am excited. They are just so beautiful. I would have loved to have seen them in their fall color but we were about a week to early. Actually by the end of the week there were some leaves staring to turn golden. I took photos and I just may use my artistic license to paint them yellow!
