'Pretty in Pink' 8x10 pastelAs promised, I have painted some pink poppies. These were in the garden in Crested Butte along with all of the other varieties. What a feast for the eyes! The pink ones were such a delicate shade of pink. While I had my pink pastels out I painted three little 2.5 x 3.5 minis of the pink poppies.
Today registration opened for next summer's IAPS convention in Albuquerque New Mexico. It is a biennial convention and I attended last year. I decided to go again and registered for a few classes. I decided not to over schedule myself like I did last time but I am excited about my choices! Who else is planning on attending?
