Prairie Gold....Kansas Wheat Fields

I love wide open spaces and so driving across the prairies was wonderful. The light on the golden wheat fields was amazing. We were fortunate to stay overnight at a motel on the edge of a wheat field that was in the process of being cut. We watched the huge combines harvest the wheat well into the night.
