'Among the Poppies' 2.5 x 3.5 pastel

Today's painting is a miniature pastel I did a few weeks ago. Sometimes when I just feel like sitting down and playing with ideas for paintings I will do several of these minis. They are a lot of fun to do and always a good learning exercise for me. I hope to have my studio painting and organizing done tomorrow so I can get back to the fun kind of painting!
