'Fields of Gold' 5x7 pastelI have so many reference photos from my trip to California in September and today I was in the mood to paint a California scene. We stayed in Inverness near Point Reyes. I loved it! There was so much wild beauty in this area that I could have spent weeks! We only had two days but we drove all over and I got some good photos. I loved the interesting trees and the golden fields of early Fall. This little painting is on UArt with a watercolor underpainting.
Hard to go wrong with a California scene.
