'Dragonfly Magic' 5x7 monotype with pastel Karen Margulis
For this dragonfly I did a monoprint with black relief ink on a glass plate. I used the subtractive method and had the most fun doing the wings with a bamboo skewer! This is actually the ghost print (2nd Print) I pulled. When it dried I added pastel mostly Great American iridescent pastels. You can't see the shimmer very well in the photo but they are perfect for painting dragonflies!

This is really wonderful!
I really like how this turned out Karen! Keep going. I want to do some of those someday!
Thanks Elaine! It was a lot of fun.
Teri, it is so much fun and much less trouble than I thought it would be. I can't wait to do more.
