'Poppy Magic' 6x6 pastelAfter painting some moody paintings it is time for a splash of color. This is one of the 6x6 pastels I did when deciding what to enter in Randy Higbee's 6 Squared Show in California. I was thrilled to have a painting accepted so now I will share the others that I worked on for the show. 6x6 is a great little format to work on and I am sure I will do it again. I mounted Uart paper to archival matboard which made it even easier to do underpaintings.
