'View of the Rio Chama' 8x10 pastelToday's painting is one I painted last week for a demo. I did a very bright and bold underpainting with Createx Pure Pigments. I always like to do a bold underpainting. It is always easier to tone a painting down but so much harder to put that color in later! This is a view of the Rio Chama in New Mexico. I took it on my trip to the last IAPS convention. I am in countdown mode for this year's convention. There are only 14 days until the convention and I am getting excited!
