'September Meadows' 8x10 pastelI am enjoying working on the underpaintings I prepared last week. I did several oil stain underpaintings while I had my paints out. So now I have a few paintings started and all I need to do is choose the one I want to finish. I already did the planning! Since it has been a few days since i did the underpainting, I am now approaching the subject with fresh eyes and for this painting I really just reacted to the underpainting without being too influenced by the original photo.
