'Coastal Sunset' 6x6 pastelFor this week's pastel class we will be working with a square format. I have discovered the 6x6 square and it is a wonderful alternative to my usual small daily painting size of 5x7. I always like to encourage students to try their idea for a painting in different formats during the thumbnail stage but we often don't choose the square. I am looking forward to sharing some tips and uses for the square format in this class. More 6x6's to be posted!
This is fantastic! I love the use of red which for a warm color is quite soothing! Great job!
