'Sunset at Blind Pass' 5x7 oilHere is oil painting #3. I need to get some more supports to paint on and I am itching to go larger than 5x7! This is the beach on Sanibel Island at Blind Pass. When I showed it to my husband last night he knew exactly where this scene was so that made me happy. Carol...I did paint the gull and I will be posting it over the weekend.

Hi Karen! I like the sky very much! It radiates serenity. Comparing this painting to the previous one, I think the Marsh painting has a wonderful misty atmosphere, whereas the Blind Pass painting is quite clear. Of course the time of the day has something to do with it. But the atmosphere in the Blind Pass isn`t as obvious as in Marsh painting. But anyway, I really like them both! I think you`re natural talented :)
