'Open Seas' 5x7 pastelHere is the little plain air painting I was working on in the photo I posted below. I had set my pastels on the end of my lounge chair out on the deck of the ship. The clouds on this trip were amazing. I took lots of reference photos of the different cloud formations I saw.

Thank you David! It's one of the few plein air pieces I got to do on the cruise and I was trying to capture the beauty and peacefulness of the open seas.
