I had a lot of fun paintings these seagulls for one of my collectors. They are from photos she took on vacation at the Jersey Shore. She liked the soft pink light of the sky just before sunset as well as the intense orange glow when the sun sank below the bank of clouds....so I painted both views and they do each have their own mood. I painted these while on the cruise while looking out at the ocean. It was great to be out in the sea air while painitng a seaside scene!
