'Huntington Island Marsh' 8x10 pastelAfter last night's experience with pointillism I decided to do just the opposite today...loose and bold. Those little dots and dashes were tedious though oddly relaxing. I don't think I would enjoy painting that way all the time though it did give me some ideas I want to try. Today I am going through some of my photos and trying to interpret them with bolder strokes and different colors. I am having so much fun!
