Bird Nest Painting

'Hidden Nest' 6x6 pastel

We discovered this little nest on our trip to New Mexico. A pretty little bird had her nest in a small fir tree in the planter next to our motel room door. We hated to disturb her as we carried our luggage and gear in and out of the room but she really didn't seem to mind the activity as long as we didn't get too close.
