' Summer Delight' 6x8 pastelI finished packing and running errands and had time to paint today! Here is today's painting...a California Dogface Butterfly enjoying the Queen Anne's Lace. It is 6x9 on Uart with an alcohol wash underpainting. We are hitting the road early in the morning for the first leg of our trip. We hope to make it to St. Louis, MO or somewhere near. It all depends on how many stops we make! I hope to make a post to the travel blog tonight or in the morning so have a look at the link above the post if you want to travel along with us!
