It's a good thing I started my Spring studio cleaning last week. The record rain we had yesterday decided to come into my studio! I woke up to a sloppy wet mess. Luckily I didn't have any paintings or frames on the floor so nothing was ruined. But everything has been turned upside down so that we could wet vac the floor. The good news is that I have some great ideas to remodel the studio to give me and my students more room. It will have to wait until after my June trip but it will be something fun to look forward to.
Since I have been cleaning and vacuuming water most of the day I thought I would share some paintings from my 'Marsh' storage box. I am going through these boxes to make room for new work and these paintings just haven't found their forever home! I will be offering them by auction this week on Daily Paintworks. Several of the beach painting sold last week so I thank my new collectors for choosing a painting!
Enjoy looking at the many moods of a marsh! To place a bid on any of these paintings please visit my Daily Paintworks auctions

Karen,
I really do love your work; it is consistently good, and I find that I can even begin to recognize your style after only being aware of your painting for a few short weeks. I also appreciate your generosity in sharing your insights with your readers. I visit your site with anticipation every day and hope you continue to blog for a long time.
Thanks,
Mitch
When you discuss blogging, could you also touch on why an artist might prefer to set up a website (vs. a blog) or vice-versa? Thank you!
