France Expedition Day 2 in Paris

I'm a day behind. Yesterday was our second day in Paris and it was our museum day. We began the day with an excellent breakfast at out hotel.

We then took the metro to the Musee d'Orsay for the morning.. It was amazing! We split up to look around at our leisure and met for lunch and a visit to L'Orangerie. By now jet lag and a stomach bug had taken over. I spent the rest of the day in my hotel room. It was sad to miss the afternoon in Paris but had a lovely visit with my roommate from Iceland.

It was a needed time of rest. The adventure continues in Normandiy. We arrived Saturday evening after a special stop at Auvers sur Oise. It's late so I'll tell this story tommorrow, here is a sneak peek at our house!

Have a wonderful time. We have just come back from Paris and Normandy (river cruise). There is so much variety to see from little villages, lots of history and of course the Normandy Beaches and Cemeteries etc. Very moving. Enjoy yourself. Oh, and love the house

This is so exciting! I hope either while you're there or after you come home, you'll paint that house you're staying in. It's so beautiful. Maybe a color study there and a studio painting later?

Wonderful day with museum, sorry to hear you got a stomach bug. Hope you get over it fast! I'b down with a severe sinus infection that has the whole left side of my face swollen and feels like a tooth abscess if the tooth was up on my cheekbone and next to my nose. Really nasty but I went to the clinic yesterday and got antibiotics and some acetaminophen to take along with my regular pain pills. So I should be getting rid of it soon, antibiotics work fast.
