Bald Head Discovery

What did we discover at Bald Head Point State Park? Well the heat for one thing! I was so hot I needed to change into my bathing suit. We didn't really know what kind of scenery to expect but when we got out of the car and walked onto the beach we were pleasantly surprised. There was a small pond surrounded by marsh grasses and blindingly white sand dunes. It was wonderful to get up so close to the marshy area and take photos. I walked down to the water not expecting too much since we were on the bay......but I was wrong! I found my first intact Angel Wing shell and some wonderful purple sea whips. Hmmmm I think maybe I should set up a still life with some of my beach treasures!
