The last morning of our trip to St. George Island we stopped at the State Park at the end of the island. It was a gorgeous morning...calm and warm. The sun had just come up and was lighting the dunes with a soft warm light. Jayne and I took as many pictures as we could before we had to leave. This painting is based on one of those photos.

Beyond the Dunes

I love your work! I would love to see your impressions of Prince Edward Island, in paint, on film, but especially in pastel. We have some excellent photographers and watercolor painters up here, but I haven't seen any pastels as evocative as yours. You would find a goldmine here -- beaches, natural life, birds, seasonal colors -- lots to inspire you.
