'Hide & Seek' 5x7 pastelEvery once in awhile I like to work on something sitting down at my desk. It's actually relaxing to be able to paint something detailed like this parrot's eye. It is good for me to slow down and really learn to see. That is one of the things I got from Margaret Dyer...she felt I 'saw' very well but I needed to slow down and try to see even better. Paintings like these help me do just that.
