I just had to share this photo I took. As you know I have a new bird feeder and I am patiently waiting to get some bird photos to paint. This afternoon I had some customers but I wasn't quick enough. I did manage to catch a shot of a squirrel taking a siesta on my deck! naptime is when I usually paint but I can't seem to find anything that thrills me today....maybe tonight something will strike me.

It's so funny because I took a photo of a squirrel in my backyard yesterday too! He was asleep on a dogwood branch! Squirrel siesta time!

It must be something about the season. My brother saw a squirrel on his belly on a post with all four legs dangling. I also saw the same thing on a tree stump in my yard.
