This is my first Pink hibiscus painting. I think I've only painted the red and orange ones! I love painting them. It is so much fun using theses colors. I will definitely do this one larger. This one is just 2.5 x 3.5! Speaking of color...for class tomorrow I am going to try to do a beach dune scene using colors I don't usually use. Last class, Marsha thought that maybe I used purple as a crutch...though I think it's because I am drawn to paint things where I see purples. But I need to stretch myself so i will try to do something different tomorrow!
