'Pelican Preening' 5x7 pastelI suppose I am in a bird mood today. I never know what will strike me when going through my photos looking for somethng to paint....today it was a pelican! I was actually looking through my osprey photos but changed my mind when I saw this guy. I had fun cropping my photos looking for different compositions and I have another one planned for tomorrow.
