My son Corey came over yesterday to work on his assignment for drawing class. He is an art major at Kennesaw State. For this project he had to draw something from life that was a metaphor for him. After tossing around many ideas he settled on these balanced beach rocks I brought home from the Oregon Coast. He added a feather and plans to have another feather floating down. This is about 18x24 and he did it by covering his white paper with charcoal and drawing with erasers. I did my own version of the backside of his set up which I will post next. We had a lot of fun and hope to have more studio time together!
