Dragonfly Painting

'Blue Jewel' 7x5 pastel

I always enjoy painting dragonflies. I did this one on UArt paper and used some irridescent pastels which are showing up as little specks in the photo. It looks cool in real life. I wasn't sure if I could do my wing technique on this paper using a push pin....but it worked out fine.
