'Autumn Path' 16x20 pastel It was fun to do a larger painting for a change. I know 16x20 isn't exactly large but for me it is! I enjoyed having more room to make larger strokes. I love painting the Autumn landscape because I get to use those yummy red pastels.

This is the direction that I want to take my work so i'm really going over your paintings over and over to learn from them. i love the color combinations. Your paintings just vibrate. But also the abstracted forms. I am so inspired by you Karen. i have followed you for a couple of years off and on and there is so much growth in your body of work. Truly inspiring!
