'The Red Tree' 8x10 pastelWith all of the yellow trees I have been painting I needed some red! I love painting with red pastels and I used a mix of Terry Ludwigs and Great Americans. This painting is done on Uart paper with an alcohol wash underpainting. Tomorrow I am headed for the mountains to do a private workshop for a group of friends. We are going to be working on Autumn landscapes. I know it will be a lot of fun. Have pastels, will travel!
