'Beauty Before Us'. 5x7. Pastel
If there ever was a million dollar view, we have found it. It's here in Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park at the View Hotel. We left Canyon de Chelly this morning after consulting our Trip Tik map. No more relying on our gps 'Miss Vague'. The two hour drive took about four....not too bad considering we stopped for horse and sheep photos.
The View Hotel is aptly named. The view from the lobby is amazing and the view from our private patio is even better . After we settled in I set up to paint our view from the comfort of a table on the patio. What could be better? Maybe the sunset tonight from the front of the hotel or sunrise on our patio!
Today was really just a day to relax and take in the scenery. Tomorrow we have a private photo tour in Monument Valley. We had a fantastic tour into Canyon de Chelly and I posted photos on Facebook so be sure to check them out or friend me Karen Margulis if you haven't!

"Miss Vague." Love it! I guess everyone has a pet name for their GPS. I like how the hotel blends into the surroundings. That is some view!
